Career Symposium at Jefferson High School

The HR Moye Foundation has assisted as a liaison between Western Technical College and Jefferson High School. This facilitated the presence of Western Technical College in a career symposium held at Jefferson High School on March 22, 2018.

Victor Sanchez and Javier Zavala (Program Director, Refrigeration & HVAC Technology) of Western Technical College attended the career symposium. "We were able to get approximately 50 leads (still waiting for final count), and out of those, 14 students were interested in the HVAC program. This is by far the most HVAC leads that we have obtained at one high school since I started visiting schools," commented Mr. Zavala.

Western Technical College has been a great supporter of the HR Moye Foundation by being a sponsor at our annual fundraising golf tournaments.
